A key milestone on the Central Bank of Ireland link bridge installation, with this 60-second video showing the completion of the primary steel and metal deck by Walls Construction.
After progressively installing 12m long truss sections with temporary supports from the crash deck, the bridge is now spanning a clear 32m between the buildings! This link bridge install requires precision construction engineering of the very highest standard and close collaboration.
With the development of Sky Studios in full swing, Potter Raper have released a short video on the construction’s progress.
This 27.5 acre studio, which is due to complete in 2022, will house 13 sound stages and will give sky their own home to continue making amazing programmes and films. We are so proud to be part of such a prestigious project on what has been labeled ‘the new British Hollywood’.
The new children’s hospital is currently under construction by BAM Ireland on the campus of St James’ Hospital in Dublin. In 2021, approximately 1,500 Tonnes of steel structure were fabricated and erected, over 600 windows and more than 86,000 m2 of partitions were installed.

Irish developers Ballymore are set to grow the neighbourhood at Royal Canal Park, in Dublin, Ireland.

ESS Modular installed a 5-floor, 72-bed modular ward extension at St. Luke’s Hospital.
The building was precision manufactured offsite in ESS Modular‘s state of the art manufacturing facility and installed on-site in just 30 days.
A time-lapse video of the beach renourishment works by The Australian Department of Environment Land Water and Planning (DELWP). The beach renourishment is designed to protect the coastline from further erosion, caused by more severe storms and rising sea levels attributed to climate change. Approximately 35,000m3 of sand was pumped onshore and 25,000m3 was used to construct the beach profile at St Leonards’ southern beach.
The Exo Building by Bennett Construction is nearly completed. The building which will be Ireland’s tallest commercial building – is becoming a highly visible landmark from a number of vantage points across Dublin city.
The Snugborough Interchange Upgrade Scheme by Fingal County Council is well underway. This Project includes the construction of a second bridge over the N3 adjacent to the existing Snugborough Road in Dublin and significant improvements to the area for pedestrians, cyclists, public transport users and motorists.

Located in a vibrant Boston neighborhood Scape, which specializes in developing private student housing, are now busy erecting a 477-unit apartment on Boylston Street in Massachusetts, USA. After the demolition phase SCAPE erected the first Tower Crane for the new 15-story, 451-room apartment building.
In 2020 the Port of Cork took ownership of two Ship to Shore (STS) Gantry Cranes for the new state-of-the-art Port facility, Cork Container Terminal in Ringaskiddy. A Ship to Shore Gantry Crane is the single most important piece of equipment in any container port, used to lift containers from ship to land and vice versa.
Well done to the whole team at Port of Cork. Great to see the cranes in place for many years to come.
