Austin AGC is the professional trade association for commercial builders working in Austin and throughout Central Texas. The association decided to paint its building on South Lamar with a mural as a colourful homage to the local construction industry.
The ongoing mural painting showcases remarkable buildings, both the newer ones and older ones that are iconic and represent Austin. Not only does the mural reflect the built environment but also the natural beauty of Austin that contributes to the great quality of life for the community at large. along with mural also reflects
The mural also includes the line “Build a Great Life” because, essentially, that’s what construction professionals do. The professionals are continually building a great life for everyone in the community who enjoys the offices, schools, churches, hospitals, hotels, apartments, restaurants, sports venues and many other structures throughout town brought from concept to reality by construction professionals.
