Construction is in progress on the re-development of Gascoigne East, which is currently seeing 11 new buildings being built, which once completed will deliver well-planned, high-quality apartments for different-sized households from singles through to families.
In addition to the new homes, there will be attractive, tree-lined public spaces, including an entirely new park – the 5,000 square metre Gascoigne Square – with public art and striking designs in a mixture of traditional and modern styles.
The project is part of the long-term regeneration of the 1960’s Gascoigne Estate in Barking. It is being developed to provide new homes for shared ownership, private sale, affordable and local market rent.
Willmott Dixon involved Evercam at the early stages of project planning to ensure that the project was captured from the very beginning. This enables them to have a video record of the project progression and allows the client to develop innovative solutions to keep everyone on program, work collaboratively & minimise delays with clear communication across channels. Our camera is monitoring the progress of the development from greenfield to the facade phase.
