The Bridgefoot Park Community Campaign has been working since 2015 to build awareness of the Bridgefoot Street site as a neighborhood park for the Liberties area. The campaign has worked with the Dublin city development planning process to look to have the site rezoned for recreation.
The proposed works will comprise the provision of a new public park consisting of hard and soft landscaped areas, tree planting, furniture and lighting, soft landscape mounds and landscape terraces, allotments and community gardens, multi-functional performance space, play space, and play equipment.
